So here we do have a game mechanic in PC which is exploitable - Basically atm any member of a corp can play in a PC battle without permissions from anyone, all you need is to be in the corp and if you make a squad you can drag in 5 other members from any clan

Now atm basically all members from the CPM which 3 of them are with CRONOS back the use of this, Kain is against it and Hans is too busy playing EVE to give a ****

It is metagaming but at the very lowest level because its not infiltration or spying, its sabotage plain and simple by exploiting a half baked mode atm

Corps are massive right now and no one can boot ppl out or even prevent ppl from going into matches, this will be eventually fixed and infact has to be because it will break the game and produce the blue donut more quickly

Also as a consequence new players are ******, new players will not be able to join any of the big corps in fear of having a spy let in to flip the game, they cant make ther own because the same can happen to them and also its damn hard to get into PC since its costly so they get a the real short end of the stick

If anything spying and infiltration should be a long time in the making and not a simple case of join said clan, join a battle and TK then get kicked at the end

If this is fixed eventually it maybe too late, in general the alliances which have abused this mechanic more than most may as a consequence hold more districts thus more ISK so they can wage war for longer but if they cannot defend ther districts then they will lose so while they have the upperhand by using underhanded tactics if they are not good they will lose it all eventually

So basically the CPM says its fine, well 4 of the 5 do atm



Now onto the exploitable game mechanic that is AFK farming

Its done easily, doesnt effect anyone except the team and may lose as a consequence, you do nothing but still earn SP and ISK

Now again some of the CPM are against this also, but it doesnt effect or hurt anyone and in pub matches who the hell cares anyways



Onto OB/WP mechanic

The WARRIORS were the best at this and found it 1st, they damaged ther own tank and repaired it to earn WP and earn OB

Now as a logi you should get points for reapairs but instead CCP made it so you cant gain pts very quickly and also none for damaging your own vehicle

Again no CPM at this time but generally everyone was against it because in pub matches 10 OB from 1 person would be dropped and you would earn the max amount of SP/ISK that you could get and **** everyone off

Thing is tho everyone got reset and they fixed it



So out of the 3 main game mechanics that have been exploited the latest one is the one which effects everything from new players to vets and corps in general

Also noted the CPM in general tends to not like stuff which effects them maybe in ther game but if it gives them an advantage in something which is worth alot more than the pub matches then they will do it and throw everything out of the window to achieve it

The ppl who do PC and 'sabotage' matches call it metagaming, other corps who see this just call the corps in question of having 'no gungame' but with AFK farming and the OB/WP/AFK farming its generally classed as cheating to gain the upperhand without doing or risking anything which PC sabotage is

Myself I have done OB/WP farming and AFK farming, i havnt sabotaged PC battles but if i was going to i would prefer it to be hard where i have to join the clan, gain ther trust, fight in a few battles and try and get promoted and roles where i can really burn the house down instead of spamming x for a TK battle in which you get kicked after. But i have used game mechanics and exploited them, i know i was exploiting them but i knew eventually they would be fixed and that they should be fixed for the good of the game, for it to survive.

But also OB/WP/AFK farming is not cheating for me, PC sabotage isnt cheating but its exploiting of a broken half baked mode in which its those who have better tactics/gungame win

I cannot see how CPM members can be against the WP/OB/AFK farming mechanics yet support the broken PC mechanic, exploiting a broken game mechanic is still exploiting it weather you are doing it yourself or someone else is or even your corp/alliance is doing it

As CPM memebers i have heard that you talk to CCP and in general pass the communitys thoughts on for the good fo the game etc yet all i see is CPM members being hypocrites because they are against other exploited mechanics yet in favour of another because it benefits them and ther corp/alliance
